Powered by the MediaTek MT7988A quad-core A73 CPU running at 1.8 GHz, the GW-8096DFP delivers powerful processing for enterprise firewall, routing, and VPN services. The platform supports 10G NAT performance and gigabit-level VPN throughput, making it ideal for high-traffic enterprise and campus networks. 
 

Flexible 10G WAN and Backbone Connectivity

The gateway features a 10G SFP+ / RJ45 combo WAN port for flexible fiber or copper uplinks, along with a 10G SFP+ LAN port for high-speed backbone connections. This design enables seamless integration into modern enterprise networks and high-capacity infrastructure environments. 
 

Multi-Gigabit LAN for Next-Generation Networks

Equipped with 5 × 2.5GbE LAN ports and 4 × Gigabit Ethernet ports, the GW-8096DFP supports high-speed connectivity for modern network devices. The multi-gigabit ports are ideal for Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access point deployments, ensuring high throughput and stable connections for large numbers of users. 
 

Integrated 8-Port PoE++ Power Delivery

The gateway includes 8 PoE++ ports with a total 230W power budget, capable of delivering up to 60W per port. This allows the GW-8096DFP to directly power devices such as high-performance Wi-Fi access points, IP cameras, and other PoE-enabled equipment, simplifying installation and reducing infrastructure cost. 
 

Edge Application Expansion with PCIe and USB

For advanced network services, the GW-8096DFP provides two USB 3.0 ports and a PCIe SSD slot. These interfaces allow expansion for storage or additional applications such as local web services, file servers, or edge computing workloads, making the gateway suitable for versatile enterprise deployments.
